Poem

The Last Walk

In memoriam Tadhg Mac Suibhne

I walk through the forest
carrying the sadness of your leaving.

You make your way among the trees
rust body with white tipped tail

stopping, sitting, staring
you at me and me at you.

After, you turn away and step through the undergrowth.
